W Lodi Avenue <br /> Lodi, California <br /> 10 INTRODUCTION <br />' At the request of Mr Nicholas Bokides of Mel Bokides Petroleum, Inc , Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironnnental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report for 501 W Lodi Avenue (site), <br /> ' Lodi, California The site setting is illustrated on Figure I Site structures and monitoring well <br /> locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> ' The scope of work was to monitor and sample thiee ground water monitoring wells on the site The <br /> objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentiations in ground <br /> water and to characterize ground watei flow direction and gradient on the site <br /> A summary of previous investigations at the site was included in the [fork Plan for Site Amessnsent, <br /> Mel Bokides Petr oleum, 501 West Lodi Avenue, Lodi, Calrfal nia, dated 15 May 1998 prepared by <br /> AGE <br /> 20 PROCEDURES <br /> ' Field work was conducted and this report prepaied in accordance with guidelines established by the <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Contiol Boaid (CVRWQCB) and by the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) for subsurface investigations <br /> ' of former underground storage tank (UST) systems <br /> ' 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> ' On 28 August 1999, the depth to ground water in each monitoring well was measured to the nearest <br /> 0 01 foot utilizing a Solist water level meter Ground water elevations fronn BMW-1 through BMW- <br /> 5 (site wells) and MW-5 (off-site well) were then calculated by subtracting the measured depth to <br /> ' giound water from the surveyed casing elevations (Table 1) Ground water elevations were plotted <br /> and contoured on a scaled site map (Figure 3) <br /> ' After water levels were measured, approximately 40 gallons (a rniinimurn of thi ee well volumes per <br /> « Il)of watei were purged from'�jells BMV-1 and BAIW=2, approxinnately 6 or S gallons of water <br /> «ere purged from the ieinaining wells, utilizing a two-stage subnneisible pump All ICM Model <br /> ' 52200 water analvzei was utilized to monitor teinpciatuie, pH and conductivity of purged water at <br /> regular purge-volume iinteivals Stabilization data and field logs are included in Appendix A Puiged <br /> giound water was containerized in 55-gallon drums and stored on-site <br /> Arrr arced GeoEm ironmental,[ne <br /> 1 <br />
