West Lodi Avenue, Lodi, California <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN <br /> The CAI', dated 15 Tune 1999 and prepared by AGE, discussed remediation alternatives for the <br /> subject property and recommended soil vapor extraction combined with to-situ air spargxng <br /> (SVE/IAS) as the most effective method for treatment of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground <br /> water The CAP included an analysis of other remedial alternatives for both soil and ground water, <br /> including excavation and disposal, in-situ bioremediation and natural attenuation The PHS-EHD <br /> has requested a discussion of one additional effective soil and grolutd water ren-led:ation system that r <br /> could be recommended for the site <br /> This addendum discusses excavation and off-site disposal of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and in-situ <br /> bioremediation/bioenhancement of ground water as alternative, viable remediation methods for the <br /> site Also,Figure 3 - Cross Section -A 'and Figure 4-Dissolved Hydrocarbons have been revised <br /> and are attached to this addendum <br /> _ EXCAVATION AND OFF-SITE DISPOSAL <br /> Based upon estimates to the CAP, excavation of the"core"portion of the hydrocarbon-impacted soil <br /> plume beneath the former underground storage tank (UST) excavation and former dispenser island <br /> . area could be effective in removing much of the hydrocarbon-impacted soil at the site Soil would <br /> have to be excavated to a depth of 35 feet to remove approximately 50% of the total volume of <br /> 4005 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California 95205 <br /> Telephone(209) 467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118 <br />
