Harlin Knoll
From : Deanna Harding [deanna@grinc.com]
Sent: Monday, July 22, 2002 9:57 AM
To: bsilva@secor.com
Cc: Harlin Knoll; Roger Hoffmore; Bob Cochran
Subject: RE: Request for 3Q02 M&S event for 93232, Stockton
Brian ,.
Total well depths were measured in all wells during the well development /2nd
Qtr event ( s ) and noted on all field data sheets . The new wells were very
difficult to develop ; full of sediment ( see field data sheets for initial
total well depths and final total well depths reached after development ) .
In addition , as field data sheets indicate and per our conversations , well
MW- 6D was very difficult to develop , extremely thick mud , ( total well depth
was supposed to be 62 ' , initial total well depth was 49 . 141 ) , well would not
re - charge . After 3 events / attempts , we were able to get the well down to
57 . 05 ' .
I will have Lancaster check/ confirm results .
Deanna L . Harding
Gettler - Ryan Inc .
( 925 ) 551 - 7555
- - - - - Original Message - - - - -
From : Brian Silva [mailto : bsilva@secor . com]
Sent : Monday , July 22 , 2002 9 : 09 AM
To : Deanna Harding
Cc : Harlin Knoll ; Roger Hoffmore
Subject : Request for 3QO2 M&S event for 93232
Deanna-
Harlin called me last Friday ( 7 / 19 / 02 ) to discuss the 2QO2 QMR results for
93232 . The results from the three new deep wells was the reason he called .
The corresponding shallow wells were ND while the deep wells , especially
MW- 4D , had elevated levels of TPHg and benzene . This may be due to lab
error , but in any event , he requested that during the next M&S event that
the new well pairs have the bottom tagged prior to purging and sampling for
well confirmation . If you have any questions please give me a call .
Thank you ,
Brian A .
