Work Plan for Environmental Investigation May 18 , , 1989
Proposed ARCO Station Woodbridge, California AGS 39044-1W
Utilities surrounding the site consist of a 6 inch-diameter high
pressure gas line located west of the site in Main Street. In
addition, a Pacific Bell and Pacific Gas and Electric easement is
located on the east side of the property in MAin Street. We
understand this right of- way is currently abandoned. An 8 inch
diameter water line is located on the west side of Main Street.
A 6 inch-diameter sanitary sewer line is located east of the
site. Approximate location of these utilities as supplied on the
`r ARCO land planning survey are shown on Plate P-2 .
PROPOSED WORK
The proposed investigation is designed to explore the possibility
of soil and ground water hydrocarbon contamination beneath the
site. The following tasks are proposed and are discussed in the
following sections:
o Acquire permits from the San Joaquin Local Health -
District
r
o Prepare a Site Safety Plan.
o Perform a soil-vapor survey of the site.
o Evaluate the soil-vapor survey results. These results
will be used to assist in locating the proposed soil
borings and proposed monitoring wells.
o Drill three soil borings at the approximate locations
shown on the Generalized Site Plan, subject to review
based on data from the soil-vapor survey.
5=
Ap A490' GeoSysteinS
