ARCO requires the completion of the
environmental work described in the Work Plan prior to purchase
of the property.
We understand the priority review is available at an overtime
rate of $52 . 50 and will be completed within 10 working days. We
have also enclosed the appropriate applications for permits and
fees. Please inform us as soon as possible if you require
additional information or application fees. We are scheduling
the first portion of the work described in the Work Plan for June
7, 1989.
ARCO has requested that we inform you that no evidence or
knowledge of hazardous materials being discharged at this site is
known by ARCO and that ARCO is voluntarily performing this
preacquistion environmental work and request your timely approval
of this work plan. ARCO will always follow county guidelines on
underground tank regulations but is of the opinion that
regulating and requiring a work plan for preacquistion assessment
work on undeveloped property is not in the best interest of the
public.
