6.0 PSA CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
With the exception of the RECs identified below,
on the basis of the site visit, site history, aerial
photograph review, reconnaissance of the area
within approximately 1/4 mile of the site
boundaries, and regulatory agency records
reviewed for the study area,HLA did not observe
C any obvious sources or evidence of improper use
or disposal of hazardous materials/wastes on the
Site.
Four RECs were identified by HLA in the
interviews with Mr. Lopez and Mr. Selover
during the site visit. These four RECs included
the following:
1. Former USTs usage,
L 2. Former AST usage,
3. Existing AST's usage, and
4. Agricultural Chemicals usage.
The above RECs were communicated to Teichert
as preliminary findings of the PSA and are the
focus of the Limited Phase II Investigation that is
presented in the next section of this report.
One domestic water well was observed to be
located on the property. If the property is
developed for future residential purposes, HLA
recommends that water well construction be
investigated and the water tested prior to use as
drinking water. Improperly constructed or
unused wells should be abandoned in accordance
with California State and/or San Joaquin County
} guidelines.
Hardin Lawson Associates 12
G:\WPGDH\GH38S71Z:151 9
