KIFF
Report Number : 85552
Analytical LLC Date : 08/05/2013
Subject : 7 Water Samples and 4 Vapor Samples
Project Name : Parcel 2A
Project Number : 211602385.600.0800
Case Narrative
A version of this report was previously issued on 08/01/2013. This revised version replaces that report.
The results for sample GW-EFF by method EPA 624 been reported from an alternate analytical run to
resolve a QC conflict between methods EPA 624 and EPA 8260B.
Matrix Spike/Matrix Spike Duplicate results associated with sample GW-EFF for the analyte Lead were
outside of control limits. This may indicate a bias for the sample that was spiked. Since the LCS
recoveries were within control limits, no data are flagged.
The analyte 2-Chloroethylvinylether for sample GW-EFF was analyzed using a preserved bottle.
2-Chloroethylvinylether degrades rapidly in the presence of the hydrochloric acid (HCI) preservative, so
results may be biased low.
Matrix Spike/Matrix Spike Duplicate results associated with sample GW-EFF for the analyte
2-Chloroethylvinylether were outside of control limits. This may indicate a bias for the sample that was
spiked. Since the LCS recoveries were within control limits, no data are flagged.
2795 2nd Street, Suite 300 Davis, CA 95618 530-297-4800 Page 2 of 32
