1
4.0 PLANNED SITE ACTIVITIES
PSC has contacted the responsible parties for the neighboring properties and their
' environmental consultants. The former Arco, Chevron, former Texaco sites, and former
Colombo/Toscana sites are moving forward to establish a Commingled Plume Account. The
Commingled Plume Verification Report and corresponding application has been completed
' and has been sent to the SWRCB for review.
PSC and their subcontractor have been conducting quarterly groundwater monitoring on the
same dates as scheduled for the Transmission Shop, Shell, Chevron, Texaco, and ARCO sites.
' These sites, in accordance with the May 2009 SWRCB Resolution have moved to semi-
annual groundwater monitoring. PSC has continued to coordinate groundwater-monitoring
activities with the other sites semi-annual monitoring activities. The CVRWQCB requested
' that the monitoring wells continue to be monitored on a semi-annual basis during the second
and fourth quarters in a letter dated March 17, 2010. The next groundwater-monitoring event
would be the first semi-annual to occur during the second quarter 2010. The letter also stated
that since the Site's application into the Commingled Plume Account is under review that the
board is directing all subsequent activities to be coordinated through a single point of contact.
Since PSC will not be the point of contact, the subsequent activities including the semi-annual
groundwater monitoring will not be coordinated or reported by PSC.
1
1
1
' Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report
First Quarter—January 2010
Prepared For:Sara Lee Bakery Group,Inc.
