(CAPS) has authorized Advanced <br /> ;EnvironmentaVConcepts,_Inc. (AEC) to.-prepare this.-confirmation-water sampling work plan for three soil <br /> borings at the-pro pertvidentified as-.Durham-Ferry Ranch. The site is located at 700.West Linne Road, <br /> approximately 6 miles southeast of Tracy,_California(Figure 1). The San Joaquin County Public.Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division(SJCPHS-IrHD)is the lead agency for this project. The specific locations of the <br /> r _:0606sed-borings are presented on F=igure 2. <br /> L� 1.1 Purpose <br /> = The assessment services described in this work plan have the following objective: <br /> Evaluate-the-potential_;presence of residual gasoline fuel impacted'soil or groundwater located in the <br /> former UST emplacement located'east of the attached garage/storage warehouse, following remedial <br /> rexcavation. <br /> 1.2 Scope of Work <br /> The scope:of'SerVices-describedin this work plan are summarized below for clarification purposes. <br /> Detailed,investigative methods are presented in.section 4.0 of this report: <br /> 1. Locating iuffdergroiind utilities-using Client records and Underground Service Alert <br /> (USA); <br /> 2. Drilling a-total.of three exploratory soil borings to re-evaluate the potential presence <br /> of hydrocarbon impacted 5oillgroundwater; <br /> 3. Collecting soil samples at,the capillary-fringe, using a split spoon sampler lined with <br /> clean brass sleeves. The soil-samples°will be-field screened using a-Photoionization <br /> Detector(PID)-equipped.with a 10,13 ev-lamp; <br /> = 4. Installing.27 h diameter casing in the borings and completing as groundwater <br /> monitoring Wells; <br /> 5. Develop andi purge the groundwater monitoring-wells in preparation for sampling; <br /> 6. Collect wateraamples from each well an6 analyze for.TPH-gasoline/BTXE/MTBE; <br /> 7.
