' Mapping and analysis of the groundwater elevation data suggest
that the local groundwater gradient flows in a northeasterly
' direction Figure 4 shows the water-level data collected and
interpreted contour lines
' 7.0 LABORATORY ANALYSES
The samples were sent to McCampbell Analytical Inc of Pacheco,
' California, a state-certified laboratory, and analyzed for
• Total lead using EPA Method 6010 .
' The samples were analyzed on a normal 5-day turnaround basis
7. 1 Laboratory Analytical Results
The laboratory analytical results are summarized in Table 1 and
Figure 3 . Laboratory certificates are included in Appendix A
The results are as follows
Analysis of groundwater samples indicated that :
• Lead concentrations were less than 5 0 ug/l (not
detected)
' 8. 0 DISCUSSION
' Laboratory analytical results indicated that there were non-
detectable concentrations of lead in the groundwater samples
collected from wells MW-1, MW-2 , and MW-3
Based on the laboratory analytical results of this groundwater
sampling event, it appears that lead concentrations in the
groundwater are lower relative to the results of the previous
' sampling event conducted in December 1999 (Table 1) We
recommend that no further action be required and are requesting
closure of the groundwater monitoring activities at the Site
based on the non-detectable concentrations of lead in the
groundwater within the Site
' 9.0 EXCLUSIONS
ICES assumes no responsibility or liability for the reliance
hereon or use hereof of information contained in this report by
anyone other than the party to whom it is addressed
' 4
