F <br /> s - r <br /> I <br /> CHRONOLOGY <br /> CITY OF STOCKTON MUNICIPAL UTILITIES DEPARTMENT <br /> 1465 S LINCOLN STREET, STOCKTON <br /> 09/08/93 A 1000 gallon waste oil underground storage tank (UST), a 1000 <br /> gallon motor oil UST and a 1000 gallon hydraulic oil UST were <br /> removed this date. Two soil samples were collected beneath each <br /> UST— all these sample results were non detect for contaminants. <br /> The piping to the waste oil tank was not removed because it was <br /> beneath the floor of.a. building. <br /> 04/12/94 Four soil borings were drilled to a depth of 20 feet and soil samples <br /> collected to investigate the area of three operating 112,000 gallon <br /> UST's (2 gasoline and 1 diesel). <br /> 04/21/94 Date of "Preliminary Site Assessment" report of 4112/94.work. All <br /> soil sample results were non-detect except B4 which had .025 ppm <br /> toluene. <br /> 04/21/95 Three 12,000 gallon UST's removed. Low levels of contamination <br /> were detected in three of the eight soil samples collected beneath <br /> the UST's at a depth of 11 to 12 feet. <br /> 08/08/95 Date of Environmental Health Department (EHD) letter requesting <br /> further investigation of the three 12,000 gallon UST area. <br /> 02/07/97 Date of EHD letter stating that the waste oil UST piping still had to <br /> be closed in place and that soil samples beneath the piping be <br /> collected and analyzed. It also referenced the 8/8195 EHD letter <br /> requiring further investigation of the 12,000 gallon UST area. <br /> 03/17/00 Two soil probe borings were.performed in the area of the 12,000 <br /> gallon UST's with soil and grab water samples collected. <br /> " p05/10/00 Date of Preliminary Subsurface Investigation report of work <br /> performed 3/17/00. Only contamination found was 89 ug/L TPH-d. <br /> 03/21/01 Waste oil piping closed in place and soil samples collected beneath <br /> piping. PCE found in all 4 soil samples collected. <br /> 02/04/02 A soil boring was advanced in the area of the former waste oil <br /> piping with soil and'a grab water sample collected. <br /> 03/06/02 Date of "Ground Water Investigation Report"for work done on <br /> 214/02. PCE in grab water sample at 1.6 ppb. No further action <br /> recommended by the consultant. i <br />
