Airport Way <br /> Stockton , CA 95211 <br /> RE : Career Aviation FILE COPY SITE CODE : <br /> 6250 Lindberg Ave. <br /> Stockton , CA 95211 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services , Environmental Health Division <br /> ( PHS/EHD) has reviewed the analytical results of the soil and/or water samples <br /> collected beneath the underground storage tank(s) that was/were permanently closed <br /> at this site on June 19 , 1997 . <br /> Based on the levels of contaminants present in the samples collected , further <br /> investigation to determine the extent of the soil and/or groundwater contamination is <br /> required . <br /> An " Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release (Leak)/Contaminated Site <br /> Report" has been filed pursuant to Section 25295 of the Health and Safety Code <br /> ( HSC ) . The appropriate disclosure of a hazardous waste discharge pursuant to <br /> Section 25180 . 7 of the HSC has been made, and the site has been placed on the list <br /> of contaminated sites in San Joaquin County which is maintained by PHS/EHD . <br /> PHS/EHD under contract with the State of California Water Resources Control Board <br /> ( SWRCB) oversees the investigation and remediation of contamination from leaking <br /> UST's . Responsible parties must take corrective action in response to an <br /> unauthorized release, in compliance with Section 25299 . 37 of the HSC and <br /> Corrective Action Regulations adopted pursuant to Section 25299 . 77 of the HSC . <br /> PHS/EHD uses the SWRCB "Prioritization System for Leaking Underground Storage <br /> Tank Sites" to prioritize all the contaminated sites . You will be directed to begin the <br /> required investigation , based upon the priority ranking of the site and PHS/EHD staff <br /> availability. <br /> Unless further excavation of the tank pit is currently proposed , the tank excavation <br /> should be filled . Open tank excavations allow for downward migration of <br /> contaminants.
