Lindsay St. <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Please be advised that this office has reviewed the "Preliminary <br /> Report" submitted by WaterWorks. Our review has been placed on <br /> hold due to the omission of data from the work plan. In order to <br /> expedite the field investigative activities and to issue local <br /> permits, if applicable, a revised Soil Contamination Work Plan <br /> (SCWP) should be submitted to San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) which utilizes <br /> the guidelines found within the enclosed "Tri-Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations. " <br /> All proposals and/or reports submitted must be accompanied by a <br /> letter of acknowledgment from the responsible party(ies) . (See <br /> attached sample. ) <br /> Include in all proposals and reports a site specific Health and <br /> Safety Plan describing personal protection for all field personnel <br /> (see 29 CFR 1910. 120 of OSHA regulations) . <br /> This protection should include the use of personal protective <br /> equipment such as coveralls, gloves, steel toe and shank shoes <br /> or boots (leather or chemical .resistant material) , safety <br /> , hard hats. Precautions should be taken to <br /> glasses, and` <br /> prevent excessive inhalation of/or exposure to contaminated <br /> soils. <br /> The San Joaquin County PHS/EHD will continue to review proposals <br /> for the purpose of� compliance to local ordinance requirements for <br /> permits for certain activities such as borings, monitoring <br /> wells/piezometers,- vapor probe surveys, extraction systems, etc. <br /> �t " +� <br /> A Divicinn of San Joaquin County I IcaId 0:oic S(T viccs <br />
