Drill cutting
samples were collected during drilling and subsurface geology was logged on site. Core
' samples were collected and sent to Sherwood Labs Corporation for analysis. The
subsurface is comprised of alternating layers of sand and clay from the surface down to 35
' feet below ground surface(bgs).
Laboratory analysis of the groundwater samples collected during the monitoring event show
' that three of the five wells are non-detect for BTEX, TPH-gas, MTBE, ETBE, TAME,
-DIPS, TBA, 1,2-DCA, and EDB. MW-I has significant concentrations of BTEX and TPH-
G. MW-4 has trace amounts of some BTEX constituents.
' On April 29, 2002, GTI and Thompson-Hysell Engineers personnel mobilized to the site to
survey the tops of the monitoring wells in accordance to AB2886. The measurements were
used to calculate groundwater elevation, bearing and slope (Table 1).
