Creological Teclrxics liu.
Page 1 i
Sinclair Trucking
Project No.: 1030.2
August 11,2005
about 11.5 ft bgs. Since the excavation was approximately 13.5 ft deep, the bottom two
feet was dug into groundwater.
• Mass balance calculations assume the entire 7-foot thick units consist of uniform
' contaminant concentrations.
4.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
• Approximately 400 cubic yards of contaminated soil was removed from the site.
• Approximately 2,550 pounds or approximately 80% of TPH-G mass was removed from
the site.
• There is approximately 748 pounds or 121 gallons of TPH-G remaining in the soil at the
site.
• GTI recommends continued quarterly groundwater monitoring for three more quarters.
• If groundwater analyses show a decreasing or stabilized TPH-G concentrations over the
next three quarters, GTI would recommend performing a risk analysis to evaluate the
possible closure of the site.
5.0 LIMITATIONS
This remedial action work plan was prepared in accordance with the generally accepted
standard of care and practice in effect at the time Services were rendered. It should be
' recognized that definition and evaluation of environmental conditions is an inexact science
and that the state or practice of environmental geology/hydrology is changing and evolving
and that standards existing at the present time may change as knowledge increases and the
' state of the practice continues to improve. Further, that differing subsurface soil
characteristics can be experienced within a small distance and therefore cannot be known in
an absolute sense. All conclusions and recommendations are based on the available data and
' information.
The tasks proposed for this project will be reviewed and approved by the local regulatory
' agency for compliance with the law prior to work being performed. No warranty, expressed
or implied, is made.
1
1
