' An ISCOOO peristaltic pump and dedicated tubing were used to collect each sample. Extreme care was exercised while collecting samples to prevent agitation of the water contained in the ' Waterra pump. With minimal sample aeration, water samples were transferred from the pump into 40-m1 VOA vials preserved with hydrochloric acid. All samples were checked for headspace bubbles, labeled, inserted into foam holders and placed into a cooled ice chest for transport to the laboratory. ' The sampling technician wore disposable gloves while collecting all samples. A chain of custody document, listing all samples collected and their intended analyses, accompanied the samples from field to the laboratory, thereby providing a means to track the movement of and ensure the integrity of the samples. ' The analytical data were submitted to GeoTracker as required under AB 2886 on November 9, 2004. The confirmation code for the submittal is 3990661442. 2.2 Laboratory Analysis Groundwater samples collected on October 14, 2004, were delivered to Sherwood Labs Corporation of Hilmar, California (ELAP# 1400)for analyses of- 0 Benzene, Toluene,Ethyl Benzene, and Total Xylenes (BTEX) by EPA method 8020/8015 * Gasoline Range Organics (TPH-G) by EPA method 8020/8015 ' * MTBE by EPA method 8020/8015 o Positive results were confirmed by EPA method 8260 ' The results of the laboratory analyses are listed in Table 3 of Appendix A. Detection limits and analytical results are presented in Appendix B. ' The analytical data were submitted to GeoTracker as required under AB 2886 on November 9, 2004. The confirmation code for the submittal is 3460676252. ' 2.3 Analytical Results ' Laboratory results, completed on October 19, 2004 indicate the following: • MW-1 has low levels of BTEX and TPH-G constituents * MW-4 and MW-101 show trace levels of some BTEX constituents ' * MW-2, MW-3 and MW-5 and were non-detect above laboratory reporting limits for all analyzed constituents.
