The laboratory analyses indicate that detectable
' concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in MW-1 and MW-4. A trace amount of
MTBE was detected in MW-4. The domestic well and the remaining three of the sites five
' monitoring wells were below laboratory detection limits for all analyzed constituents.
i
During the November 2002 monitoring event purging and sampling of MW-3 could not be
' completed due to the well being clogged with roots. The roots were removed from MW-3
prior to sampling by Del-Tech Gcotechnical Support personnel during the January 2003
monitoring event.
Dissolved oxygen measurements were taken for the second consecutive monitoring event.
' The measurements indicate that the core of the plume (MW-1) has 1.27 ppm and the
margins (MW-2 and MW-4) have an average of approximately 0.72 ppm. The deep well
(MW-101) has 0.80 ppm of dissolved oxygen.
' The -average _groundwater- elevation decreased 0.20 feet since the November 2002
monitoring event. Site-specific gradient calculations show groundwater flowing in a
' northeasterly direction with a slope of 0.0033 ft/ft.
