°i
SITE CONTAMINATION WORK PLAN
Four Corners Restaurant
7505 West Linne Road
Tracy, California
July 1994
i
1.0 INTRODUCTION
In accordance with the request of Mr Franklin Cole, property owner, Geological Audit
Services, Inc. (GeoAudit) has prepared this Site Contamination Work Plan for the drilling
of two soil borings at 7505 West Linne Road in Tracy, California (the site). The site
location is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2.
a
2.0 BACKGROUND
2.1 Site Location d
Located at the northwest comer of the intersection of Chrisman Road and Linne Road, the
site is in a flat rural/agricultural area southeast of Tracy, Califomia, in San Joaquin County
(Figure 1). Jefferson School is located across the intersection southeast of the site.
2.2 Initial Investigations
It is our understanding that two (2) 1,500-gallon UST's,piping and dispi vere removed
from the property in October of 1993. Samples collected from beneath theij tank did not
detect any hydrocarbon contamination. However, samples collected near the dispenser area
at a depth of six (6) feet indicated that an unauthorized release of hydrocarbons bad
ji
occurred. Total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH as gasoline) were detected at concentrations
of 48,000 parts per million (ppm); volatile aromatics (BTE&X) wereii detected at
concentrations as great as 6,100 ppm (xylenes).
2.3 Groundwater Depth and Gradient
The Well Completion Report for a domestic water well drilled in January of 1992 states that
water was encountered near the site at a depth of 54 feet. According to the! San Joaquin
County Flood Control Map (Fall 1990), regional groundwater gradient in the a area is north.
