This application includes the conversion of an existing 3,063 square foot cafeteria to an assembly building with commercial kitchen; the use of an existing 2,622 square foot residence for a pastor residence; an existing 4,600 square foot classroom building; three (3) existing storage buildings that total 1,400 square feet; an existing 2,894 square foot classroom and office building; and upgrades to restroom facilities. This parcel is not under a Williamson Act contract. With the original approval, building permits were to be issued within eighteen (18) months of the approval date. The time extension, if approved, will extend the project by one (1) year, allowing thirty (30) months to obtain building permits from the date of the original project approval. The new expiration date will be February 26, 2021. The Property is zoned P-F (Public Facilities) and the General Plan designation is P/F (Public). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is on the north side of Calaveras Avenue, 450 feet east of Newton Road, east of Stockton. (APN/Address: 132-050-03/3647 East Calaveras Avenue, Stockton) (Supervisorial District: 2) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: This project as described is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3), and a Notice of Exemption will be filed if the project is approved. APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community Development Department no later than April 2, 2020. Recommendations and/or comments received after that date may not be considered in staffs analysis.
