Id <br /> 14 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, (209)468-3420 <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> Stockton Fire Department, Hazardous Materials (209) 937-8528 <br /> EVACUATION PLAN FOR FACILITY PERSONNEL <br /> Emergency Signal: Fire Alarm System and Public Address System <br /> Signaled by: Automatic Sensor System and/or Public Address System <br /> Employee Actions upon Hearing Signal: Immediately proceed in a safe manner to the <br /> designated evacuation point. <br /> If for some reason the emergency signal should not be working, the employee who first <br /> becomes aware of the situation shall immediately pass the word along until it reaches the <br /> emergency response person who can take over. The emergency response person will <br /> make every effort to ensure that every employee is made aware of the potential problem. <br /> Each employee is responsible to stop what he/she is doing and proceed in a safe manner <br /> to the reassemble area. <br /> Evacuation Procedures and Gathering Point: Proceed in a safe manner to the <br /> main parking lot and assemble behind each foreperson/supervisor for identification. <br /> Headcount Procedure: Each foreperson/supervisor will take an immediate <br /> headcount of his/her employees. If employees are missing, foreperson/supervisor is to <br /> notify emergency response team of all personnel not accounted for, as well as their <br /> probable location on site. <br /> Employees must be capable of initiating evacuation plan and procedures immediately. <br /> The employees should notify and advise a designated emergency coordinator to the best <br /> of their ability, concerning the incident. Emergency coordinators will assume and remain <br /> in charge of the emergency and actions taken until such time that professional emergency <br /> agencies arrive and take over the emergency actions. The emergency coordinator directs <br /> the shutdown of equipment and systems and notifies the proper agencies as soon as <br /> possible. The facility's emergency coordinators will make themselves available to <br /> whatever agency's representative takes control of the incident. <br /> Emergency Equipment: The facility is equipped with an oil-water separator, which <br /> acts as a control to prevent releases from the main shop building. All floor drains within <br /> the main shop building flow to the oil-water separator. <br /> Holt maintains spill equipment at this site for containing incidental spills. The spill <br /> equipment includes absorbent pads and socks, towels and disposal bags. Spill equipment, <br /> fire extinguishers and other response equipment are readily accessible and working <br /> properly. <br />
