Soil vapor samples will be collected at
depths of 10 and 20 feet bgs in each boring for a total of 30 soil vapor samples. The borings will be
advanced and samples collected using direct push technology. The soil vapor samples will be analyzed
for methane by ASTM Method 1946 and hydrogen sulfide by EPA Method 16. Sample locations are
indicated on Figure 5,Appendix A.
?;J Farmer TTSTc at Fastern Site Rolmda Sampling Scheme 4 Mgure 5)
Soil vapor borings will be installed at four locations along the eastern site boundary. Three borings will
be installed approximately 30 feet apart from each other starting at the northern side of the warehouse
building. One boring will be installed approximately 30 feet west of the other borings. The borings will
be completed to groundwater, approximately 40 feet bgs. Soil vapor samples will be collected at depths
of 5 and 15 feet bgs in each boring for a total of eight soil vapor samples. Groundwater samples will be
collected from the borings. The borings will be advanced and samples collected using direct push
technology. The soil vapor samples will be analyzed for volatile organic compounds (VOCs)by Method
TO-15. The groundwater samples will be analyzed for VOCs by EPA Method 8260B. A travel blank will
be prepared and submitted with the water samples for analyses.
