It was extracted from the transportation category including some oil,but primarily gas pipelines and electrical transmission lines. Sensitive Receptors. There are individuals deemed sensitive receptors due to their fragile immune systems and special sensitivity to environmental discharges. These sensitive receptors typically include the elderly,the sick,and children. While the location of all sensitive receptors cannot be determined,EDR indicates those buildings and facilities-schools,dayeares,hospitals,medical centers, and nursing homes-where individuals who are sensitive receptors are likely to be located.
