Main St.
Manteca, CA
Project No 662 2
September 12, 2001
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report summarizes the 3`d Quarter 2001 groundwater monitoring and testing work that
took place on August 3, 2001 The test results show that detectable concentrations of the
oxygenated fuel compounds (MTBE, ETBE & TAME) were detected 1n two of the three
wells BTEX and TPH-G were not detected in any of the groundwater samples This data is
consistent with past events
' The average depth to groundwater at the site was 23 71 feet bgs Groundwater gradient
calculations show that groundwater flow was N83°E with a slope of 0 0027 ft/ft The
dominant groundwater dwection has been to the east-northeast during the investigation
' 1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING
1.1 Hydrogeology of Site
The dominant soil type in the upper 40 feet of subsurface geologic soils investigated is fine
to course grained sand alternating with plastic clays The average groundwater elevation on
August 3, 2001 was approximately 15 17 feet above MSL, which is about 24 feet below
ground surface
