Main St. <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> Project No 662 2 <br /> ' December 22, 2000 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> ' This report summarizes the 4`h Quarter 2000 round of groundwater monitoring and testing <br /> that took place on November 10, 2000 The test results show that detectable concentrations <br /> of the oxygenated fuel compounds (OFCs) were detected in two of the three wells BTEX <br /> and TPH-G were not detected in any of the groundwater samples This is the fourth <br /> consecutive event in which this situation has occurred <br /> ' The average depth to groundwater at the site was 21 03 feet bgs Groundwater gradient <br /> calculations show that groundwater flow was S79°E with a slope of 0 0008 ft/ft <br /> ' Groundwater direction has varied in the four monitoring events completed to date The <br /> direction has fluctuated between east-northeast and south-southeast during this <br /> investigation <br /> ' 10 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> 1.1 Hydrogeology of Site <br /> The dominant soil type in the upper 40 feet of subsurface geologic soils investigated is fine <br /> to course grained sand alternating with plastic clays The average groundwater elevation on <br /> November 10, 2000 was approximately 17 85 feet above MSL, which is about 21 03 feet <br /> ' below ground surface <br /> 1 <br />
