Main St. <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> ' Project No 662 2 <br /> September 24, 2003 <br /> M <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report su><nmarizes the 3" Quarter 2003 groundwater monitoring event that took place <br /> on August 20, 2003 The laboratory analyses reveal that low to moderate concentrations of <br /> the oxygenated fuel compound MTBE was detected in three of the sae's four wells BTEX <br /> and TPH-G were not detected in any of the groundwater samples This data is consistent <br /> with past events <br /> An additional deep well was installed at the site on May 30, 2002 Well MW-104 was <br /> ' placed on the eastern edge of the former UST excavation This well contained MTBE (3 3 <br /> ug/1) for the fifth consecutive event <br /> ' The average elevation of groundwater at the site was 10 53 feet mean sea level, or <br /> approximately 28 feet below grade Groundwater gradient calculations show that <br /> groundwater flow was to the East with a slope of 0 0043 ft/ft The predominant <br /> ' groundwater direction has been to the east-northeast during the investigation <br /> 1 <br />
