Main St. <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> Project No 662 2 <br /> August 21, 2003 <br /> M <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 2"d Quarter 2003 groundwater monitoring event that took place <br /> on May 15, 2003 The laboratory analyses reveal that low to moderate concentrations of the <br /> ' oxygenated fuel compound MTBE was detected in three of the site's four wells BTEX and <br /> TPH-G were not detected to any of the groundwater samples This data is consistent with <br /> past events <br /> tAn additional deep well was installed at the site on May 30s 2002 Well MW-104 was <br /> placed on the eastern edge of the former UST excavation This well contained MTBE (62 <br /> ' ug/l) for the fourth consecutive event <br /> ' The average elevation of groundwater at the site was 14 34 feet mean sea level, or <br /> approximately 25 feet below grade Groundwater gradient calculations show that <br /> groundwater flow was to the N88°E with a Slope of 0 0041 ft/ft The predominant <br /> groundwater direction has been to the east-northeast during the investigation <br />
