Main St. <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> ' Project No 662 2 <br /> October 3, 2002 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> ' This report summarizes the 3`d Quarter 2002 groundwater monitoring event that took place <br /> on July 17, 2002 The test results show that low to moderate concentrations of the <br /> ' oxygenated fuel compounds (MTBE, TAME & ETBE) were detected in three of the site's <br /> four wells BTEX and TPH-G were not detected in any of the groundwater samples This <br /> data is consistent with past events <br /> ' An additional dee well was installed at the site on May 30 2002 Well MW-1 <br /> p y 04 was <br /> ' placed on the eastern edge of the former UST excavation This well was sampled for the <br /> event and contained 8 4 ug/l MTBE <br /> ' The average elevation of groundwater at the site was 13 43 feet mean sea level, or <br /> approximately 25 feet below grade This is the lowest groundwater elevation recorded in <br /> the investigation Groundwater gradient calculations show that groundwater flow was to the <br /> ' N87°E with a slope of 0 0053 ft/ft The dominant groundwater direction has been to the <br /> east-northeast during the investigation <br />
