Main St. <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> Project No 662 2 <br /> July 2, 2002 <br /> M <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> ' This report summarizes the 2nQuarter 2002 groundwater monitoring and testing work that <br /> ' took place on April 15, 2002 The test results show that low to moderate concentrations of <br /> the oxygenated fuel compounds (MTBE, TAME, ETBE & TBA) were detected an two of the <br /> site's three wells BTEX and TPH-G were not detected in any of the groundwater samples <br /> ' This data is consistent with past events <br /> The average elevation of groundwater at the site was 17 32 feet mean sea level, or <br /> ' approximately 22 feet below grade Groundwater gradient calculations show that <br /> groundwater flow was to the N79'E with a slope of 0 0024 ft/ft The dominant groundwater <br /> direction has been to the east-northeast during the investigation <br /> 1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> ' 11 Hydrogeotogy of Site <br /> ' The dominant soil type in the upper 40 feet of subsurface geologic soils investigated is fine <br /> to course grained sand alternating with thinner beds of plastic clay The average <br />
