7. Evacuation Procedures <br /> (1) In the event that the hazardous waste or materials incident threatens employees or other occupants of a DSS Company job <br /> site,the EC in command shall order an immediate evacuation. <br /> (2) The EC or designee will announce the evacuation via the public address/paging system or other communication system. <br /> (Describe): <br /> (3) Employees, upon hearing a order to evacuate, or who otherwise become aware of the need to evacuate, shall notify other <br /> employees, safely cease o rations and evacuate without delay via the nearest designated unobstructed exit. An evacuation <br /> plan (see Section 8 below)is posted in all work areas showing the nearest exit(s)and the location of the assembly area in <br /> front of the building. <br /> (4) Regardless of the exit used,all employees who evacuate shall assemble at <br /> The EC or designee shall be present in this location to account for all personnel known to be on the site. No employee shall <br /> leave the site without specific authorization by the senior supervisor, EC or designee. <br /> (5) Employees shall not re-enter the job site for any purpose until specifically authorized to by the EC or designee. <br /> 8. Evacuation Routes <br /> If evacuation is required,the following routes must be taken. If any evacuation route is blocked by the hazard,the secondary <br /> routes shall be taken: <br /> Location of Employee/Evacuee Evacuation Route Secondary Route <br /> J <br /> As required by CaUOSHA Standard, 8 CCR§3220,evacuation routes are diagramed and posted in various locations at the <br /> facility. <br /> 9. Recipients will be provided a revised copy if <br /> significant changes are made. <br />
