Main St.
' Manteca, CA
Project No 662 2
' August 30, 2004
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
' This report summarizes the 2nd Quarter 2004 groundwater monitoring event that took place
on June 4, 2004 The laboratory analyses reveal that low to moderate concentrations of the
oxygenated fuel compound MTBE was detected in three of the four wells sampled TPH-G
was not detected in any of the groundwater samples, but well MW-104 contained BTEX for
the first time
' In accordance with San Joaquin County directives, the groundwater samples were also
analyzed for diesel, methanol, ethanol, ETBE, DIPE, TAME, TBA, 1,2-DCA, EBD and lead
' Two wells contained lead above the laboratory reporting linuts- MW-3 and MW-104 at 21
and 16 ltg/l, respectively These values are just above the laboratory's reporting limit of 15
141
' The average elevation of groundwater at the site was 1143 feet mean sea level, or
approximately 27 feet below grade Groundwater gradient calculations show that
' groundwater flow was S80°E with a slope of 0 002 ft/ft The predominant groundwater
direction has been to the east-northeast during the investigation
' In our April 19, 2004 work plan GTI proposed ad(htional groundwater plume defirution and
an aquifer pumping test The SJC/EHD approved the work plan in their May 21, 2004
