Page 18 of 27 <br /> • PART 7—INSPECTION AND ENFORCEMENT <br /> A Inspection and Entry <br /> The permittee shall allow the City or an authorized representative, upon the presentation <br /> of credential and other documents as required by law, to <br /> 1 Enter upon the permittee's premises where a regulated facility or activity is located or <br /> conducted, or where records must be kept under the conditions of this permit <br /> 2 Have access to and copy, at reasonable times, any records that must be kept under the <br /> conditions of this permit <br /> 3 Inspect at reasonable times any facilities, equipment (including monitoring and <br /> control equipment), practices, or operation regulated or required under this permit <br /> 4 Sample or monitor, for the purposes of assuring permit compliance, any substances or <br /> parameter at any location <br /> 5 Inspect any production, manufacturing, fabrication or storage area where pollutants, <br /> regulated under the permit, could originate, be stored, or discharge to the sewer <br /> system <br /> B Violation--Suspension of service <br /> The Director may immediately suspend the wastewater treatment service and/or an <br /> • industrial waste discharge permit of any user when such a suspension is necessary, in the <br /> opinion of the Director, in order to stop an actual or threatened discharge which presents <br /> or may present an imminent or substantial endangerment to the health or welfare of <br /> persons or to the environment, causes interference to the POTW or causes the City to <br /> violate any condition of its discharge permit <br /> Any person notified of a suspension of wastewater treatment service shall immediately <br /> stop or eliminate the contribution In the event of a failure to comply voluntarily with the <br /> suspension order, the Director shall take such steps deemed necessary including <br /> severance of the sewer connection to prevent or minimize damage to the POTW or <br /> endangerment to any individuals or the environment <br /> The Director shall reinstate the industrial waste discharge permit and/or the wastewater <br /> treatment service upon proof of the elimination of the non-complying discharge and <br /> payment of any costs incurred by the City to disconnect the service <br /> A detailed written report describing the causes of the harmful contribution and the <br /> measures taken to prevent any future occurrence shall be submitted to the Director within <br /> fifteen days of the date of occurrence <br /> C Violation notification <br /> Permit No 05-3 <br /> Cardoza Enterprises <br />
