Main St. <br /> Manteca, CA <br /> Project No 662 2 <br /> July 7, 2005 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> ' This report summarizes the 2nd Quarter 2005 groundwater monitoring event that tookp lace <br /> on May 26, 2005 The laboratory analyses reveal that low to moderate concentrations of the <br /> ' oxygenated fuel compound MTBE was detected in five of the seven wells sampled (three of <br /> these wells are newly installed) This is consistent with the historical data Gasoline <br /> constituents TPH-G were detected in four of the groundwater monitoring wells <br /> ' In accordance with San Joaquin County directives the three new monitoring ng wells were also <br /> tested for diesel, methanol, ethanol, ETBE, DIPE, TAME, TBA, 1,2-DCA, EBD and lead <br /> ' None of the wells contained these constituents above the laboratory reporting limits <br /> ' The average elevation of groundwater at the site was approximately 15 72 feet mean sea <br /> level, or approximately 23 feet below grade Groundwater gradient calculations show that <br /> groundwater flow was SWE with a slope of 0 002 ft/ft The predominant groundwater <br /> direction has been to the east-northeast during the investigation <br /> In our March 25, 2005 work plan GTI proposed interim soil and groundwater remediation <br /> ' The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (SJC/EHD) approved the work plan <br /> and the work is in progress <br /> 1 <br />
