Main St. <br /> Dear Mr. Cardoza: <br /> In order to move this project towards closure, we have prepared the attached interim <br /> remediation work plan. The Work Plan includes provisions for installing a dual phase F <br /> extraction treatment system that is designed to remove. the high levels of petroleum ' <br /> hydrocarbons in soil beneath the former UST excavation. The plan also includes installing a <br /> groundwater extraction system to control the spread of the groundwater MTBE plume. <br /> The proposed technologies are identical to those utilized during the December 2004 pilot test <br /> With the exception that carbon units will be used to treat the soil vapor and groundwater <br /> extracted from the subsurface.
