Leola foal Teckfucs llrC Page 3 g Groundwater Momtonng Report Project No 662 2 February 15,2005 ' All non-disposable sampling equipment was decontaminated using a hot water washer and detergent before and between uses Disposable gloves were used by the technician to collect all samples and were changed with each sample collection A chain of custody document, listing all samples collected, accompanied the samples from ' field to laboratory, thereby providing a means to track their movement and insure their integrity All water purged from each monitoring well and not used as a sample, was placed in a 55 gallon DOT approved container, properly labeled and stored on site until its proper disposition can be arranged ' Groundwater monitoring field logs are included in Appendix C 1.3 Laboratory Analyses ' The groundwater samples collected on November 26, 2004, were delivered to Sherwood Labs (Department of Health Services Certification No 1400) of Hilmar,California, for analysis The groundwater samples were analyzed for Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl Benzene and Xylene (BTEX)by EPA method 8020 • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-G) by EPA method 5030/8015(M) • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Diesel (TPH-D)by EPA method M8015 Sherwood forwarded samples to Entech Analytical Labs (Department of Health Services ' Certification No 2346) of Santa Clara, California, for analysts of • Oxygenated Fuel Compounds (MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME & TBA) by EPA method 8260 ' • 1,2 DCA,EDB and ethanol by EPA method 8260 • Methanol by EPA method 8015 • Lead by method E200 7 The detection limits for the above analyses are listed in Table 2 of Appendix A while the lab ' analytical results are presented in Appendix B As required under AB2886, the groundwater elevation & laboratory data were subnutted ' electronically to GeoTracker on December 28, 2004 (confirmation # 7743748307 & 9575701892)
