Diamond Lodi,CA-November 1993 Groundwater Monitoring Page 1
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Steffen Robertson and Kirsten (tJ.S.) Inc., (SRK) has been retained by the 650 Management Corporation
(current management of Diamond Lumber, Inc.) to perform quarterly groundwater monitoring of three
groundwater monitoring wells installed by SRK at the former Diamond Lumber facility located at 224 North
Main Street, Lodi, California. The Scope of Work includes sampling three groundwater monitoring wells
to investigate the potential for groundwater contaminant migration from a former underground storage tank
location from which a tank or tanks were removed in 1985. Three groundwater monitoring wells were
installed by SRK in November, 1991, under the direct guidance of Ms. Margaret Lagorio, Senior RENS,
San Joaquin County Public Health Services/Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). Specific
information regarding subsurface soil conditions and monitoring well construction details is presented in
SRK's Phase Il Environmental Audit Report for this site dated December 1991.
This report addresses work activities completed November 29, 1993, and represents the sixth monitoring
event at this facility. The quarterly groundwater sampling activities were performed by fully qualified SRK
professionals under the technical guidance and direct supervision of Rob D. Gwilym, an Environmental
Geoscientist and registered Environmental Professional (NAEP 1792) also registered as an Environmental
Assessor in California (0035), and certified by the American Institute of Professional Geologists (4529).
Geologic and hydrogeologic aspects were completed under supervision and guidance of Gregory W. Knell,
California Registered Geologist 4692.
1ROlVN,l
CIMTWM CA 4'
ROBERT D.
