lS Diamond Lodi,CA-lune 1993 Groundwater Monitoring Page i <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> Steffen Robertson and Kirsten (U.S.) Inc., (SRK) has been retained by the 650 Management Corporation <br /> (current management of Diamond Lumber, Inc.) to perform quarterly groundwater monitoring of three <br /> ' groundwater monitoring wells installed by SRK at the former Diamond Lumber facility located at 224 North <br /> Main Street, Lodi, California. The Scope of Work includes sampling three groundwater monitoring wells <br /> to investigate the potential for groundwater contaminant migration from a former underground storage tank <br /> location from which a tank or tanks were removed in 1985. Three groundwater monitoring wells were <br /> installed by SRK in November, 1991, under the direct guidance of Ms. Margaret Lagorio, Senior REHS, <br /> 1 San Joaquin County Public Health Services/Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). Specific <br /> information regarding subsurface soil conditions and monitoring well construction details is presented in <br /> SRK's Phase 11 Environmental Audit Report for this site dated December 1991. <br /> This report addresses work activities completed June 28, 1993, and represents the fifth monitoring event <br /> rat this facility. The quarterly groundwater sampling activities were performed by fully qualified SRK <br /> professional under the technical guidance and direct supervision of Rob D. Gwilym, and Environmental <br /> Geoscientist and registered Environmental Professional (NAEP 1792) also registered as an Environmental <br /> Assessor in California (0035), and certified by the American Institute of Professional Geologists (4529). <br /> Geologic and hydrogeologic aspects were completed under supervision and guidance of Greg W.
