Ms. Mary Meays
Quarterly Summary Report
June 15, 1993
Page 2
2. A complete laboratory report and chain-of-custody record are also included as an attachment to this
report.
As shown in Table 2, groundwater samples collected and analyzed in June 1993 were reported to contain
no detectable concentrations of TPHg and BTEX. These results are consistent with groundwater quality
data from the previous sampling event (January 1993) and further indicate that groundwater directly
underlying and downgradient of the former underground storage tanks do not contain dissolved gasoline
or gasoline constituents.
PLANNED ACTIVITIES
Based on discussions during our June 8, 1993 telephone conversation, SEACOR has been authorized to
prepare a Work Plan for drilling three additional soil borings in the vicinity of the former underground
storage tanks. The purpose of these soil borings will be to further assess the effectiveness of the soil
vapor extraction system which operated at the site between April 1992 and Janaury 1993. We anticipate
that the Work Plan will be submitted to your office by June 18, 1993.
Please feel free to contact me at (415) 882-1545 if you have any questions or comments regarding this
. letter.
Sincerely yours,
Science & Engineering Analysis Corporation
Bruce E.
