LOCKEFORD ST., LODI,
CALIFORNIA
Dear Mr. Kemena:
Per the requirements of the SJCAPCD Permit to Operate a soil vapor extraction system at the
above-referenced site, Science & Engineering Analysis Corporation (SEACOR) is submitting the
enclosed information detailing the system operating parameters and influent/effluent sample results
through December 1992. Based on an effluent vapor concentration of 20 ppmv measured on
December 31, 1992, a total VOC emission rate of 0.62 pounds per day (lbs/day) was calculated.
Emission calculations for December 1992 are attached. Based on the above emission rate, the
system continues to operate within permit limits.
The two GAC canisters were taken off-line, removed, and disposed of under proper manifest on
November 23, 1992.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (415) 882-1548.
Sincerely yours,
Science & Engineering Analysis Corporation
A.rd.nAlexander, P.E.
Senior Engineer
GGA/mms/re
Enclosures: Table 1 - Soil Vapor Extraction System Operating Data
and Analytical Results of Sampling
VOC Emission Rate Calculations
cc_ Mary Meays, San Joaquin Public Health Services
Mardee Kidd, MarVal Foods
CHANPER.LTR
50014-001-05 SV03
90 A1ewA1on1Ajorrtety Stmet, Smit.?620, San Francisca, CA 94105 (415)882-!548 Ph (415)8.82-•4406Eax
