LMargrave Property
Report-Soil Boring Installation
Project No. 148.2
L
. January 7, 1994
Page b
L
5.0 CONCLUSIONAND RECOMMENDATION
L. The data obtained during this investigation suggest that the petroleum
hydrocarbons detected during tank removal sampling has not significantly
L
impacted the subsurface environment.
The depth to groundwater at this site (approximately 55 feet- see attached Figure
3 Water Level Map) suggest that the hydrocarbons detected at 7.5 feet in the north
sidewall tank closure soil sample and at 8.0 feet beneath the former tank should
not pose a threat to groundwater. Geological Technics Inc. recommends that the
excavation be brought to grade, surfaced with concrete (encapsulating the former
excavation) and that this site be considered for closure.
6.0 SIGNATURES AND CERTIFICATION
This project was performed by Geological Technics Inc. in accordance with
accepted geologic and hydrologic standards of the State of California accepted and
in effect at the time of this investigation.
