'This letter is a fallow up to our telephone conversation on Jude 8, 2000 <br /> The deadltw for the remediation system startup identified in your later dated <br /> April 17, 2000 was June 16, 2000. As discussed in our conversation, we requested that <br /> the deadf= be extended to July 7, 2000. 14Dwewr duce to the reasons identified bellow, <br /> we are requesting the deadline to be extended to July 14,2000, <br /> 'The cause foT the delay is related prirnax'ily to obtaking power supply to the remediation <br /> sysceni As the site is located on the edge of the City of Lodi Utility District and PG&E <br /> power supply grids,, identifying the power supply company and determining the type and <br /> source of power available was delayed. It was important to understaW the type and <br /> source of power supply avajUble at the site in order to identify the appropriate equipment <br /> for the system and apply for=cessary permits. <br /> Once the ava&ble power supply was determined,the equipment was identified tberefore <br /> allowirug Stratus to complete and submit an authority to construct application to Sara <br /> Joaq* Valley UnifiA Air Pollution Control District (APCD) on June 9, 2000. Stratus <br /> has requested an expedited review by the APCD. Based on my conversation with APCD, <br /> the normal n rnamund time for the application is 4-5 weeks and the expedited review is <br /> considerably starter. <br /> Based on the curacut conditions associated with the project, Stratus has u im6fled the <br /> following key action items and target clue dates, <br /> I.
