This letter is a Mow up to our telephone conversation on June 8, 2000. <br /> The deadline for the remediation system startup identified in your letter dated <br /> April 17, 2000 was June 16, 2000. As discussed in our conversation, we requcs-EL:� <br /> the deadline be extended to July 7, 2000, However due to the reasons <br /> we are requesting the deadline to be extended to July 14, 2000. <br /> The cause for the delay is related primarily to obtaining power supp"s <br /> system As the site is located on the edge of the City of Lodi Utility 1)1 ,: <br /> power supply grids, identifying the power supply company and determtnin� <br /> source of power available wqs delayed. It was important to understand <br /> source of power supply available at the site, in order to identify the appropriate cqizita <br /> for the system and apply for necessary permits. <br /> Once the available power supply was determined, the equipment was' identified tlher�Iol' <br /> allowing Stratus to complete and submit an authority to construct application to S.- <br /> Joaquin Valley Unified Air. Pollution Control District (APCD) on June 9, 2000. Stratus <br /> has requested an expedited review by the APCD. Based on my conversation with APCD, <br /> the normal turnaround time for the application is 4-5 weeks and the expedited review is <br /> considerably shorter. <br /> Based on the current conditions associated with the project, Stratus has identified L , <br /> following key action items and target due dates, <br /> 1.
