The well is allowed to recover after purging, and a ground water <br /> sample is collected and divided among four 40-ml vials. The <br /> bottles are supplied by a chemical supply company, pre-cleaned <br /> to meet EPA standards. The vials containing the sample are <br /> labeled as to station, well, time, and sampler, and documented on <br /> the chain-of-custody sheet . They are then placed into an ice <br /> chest and cooled to 40C with ice The samples are delivered to a <br /> California State Certified Laboratory and signed over using <br /> standard chain-of-custody procedures. <br /> SUMKARY <br /> The work plan as addressed above is scheduled for February 4 , <br /> 199 . In addition, the monitor well application to San Joaquin <br /> County PHS/EHD will follow this work plan proposal . The Site <br /> Safety Plan for this venture is enclosed in Appendix E. Upon <br /> acceptance of this work plan, proper notification will be given <br /> to the Concerned regulatory agency prior to beginning work <br /> Recommendation for further planning and/or remediation, if <br /> needed, will be included in the next quarterly report at this <br /> site, explaining and evaluating the results of this work plan. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> The discussion and conclusions presented in this report are based <br /> on the following. <br /> 1 The observations and data collected by field personnel . <br /> 2 The results of laboratory analyses performed by a state <br /> certified lab <br /> 3 . Our understanding of the regulations of the State of <br /> California and San Joaquin County and/or City of Lodi, <br /> California <br /> 4 . Review of existing literature concerning this site and the <br /> San Joaquin County area <br /> Changes in ground water conditions can occur due to variations in <br /> rainfall, temperature, local and regional water usage and local <br /> construction practices. In addition, variations in the soil and <br /> ground water conditions could exist beyond the points %xplored in <br /> this investigation <br /> State certified analytical results are included in this report . <br /> This laboratory follows EPA and State of California approved <br /> procedures, however, WEGE is not responsible for errors in these <br /> laboratory results . <br /> 9 <br />
