USA 65 Qtr report 7/21/92 Discussion In addition to the quarterly sampling investigation at this site USA Petroleum Corporation contracted Western Geo-Engineers (WEGE) to locate MW4 . On ,Tune 23 , 1992, a magnetic cable detector along with previous survey coordinates from monitor well construction at the site aided WEGE in locating MW4. The precise monitor well location was delineated and marked in white paint following the mechanical probing to verify well placement. CONCLUSIONS 1 . All 6 wells sampled, MW1, MW2, MW3, MW5, MW6 , MW7, showed no detectable levels of contamination. 2 . The ground water flow direction is presently in a south, southwesterly direction. 3 . S1, S2 and MW4 were not sampled. MW-4 was located but not uncovered and/or sampled. S1 and S-2 were dry. LIMITATIONS . The discussion and conclusions presented in this report are based on the following: I . The observations and data collected by field personnel . 2 . The results of laboratory analyses performed by a state certified lab. 3 . Our understanding of the regulations of the State of California and San Joaquin County and/or City of Lodi, California. 4 . Review of existing literature concerning this site and the San Joaquin County area. Changes in ground water conditions can occur due to variations in rainfall, temperature, local and regional water usage and local construction practices. In addition, variations in the soil and ground water conditions could exist beyond the points explored in this investigation. State certified analytical results are included in this report.
