GASOLINE AND ITS CONSTITUENTS POSE HEALTH HAZARDS <br /> IN TWO MAJOR CLASSIFICATIONS : EXPLOSIVITY AND TOXICITY. THE <br /> EXTREME FLAMMABILITY OF GASOLINE IS COMMONLY KNOWN. THE LOWER <br /> EXPLOSION LIMIT (LEL) OF GASOLINE VAPOR IS 1 . 3 PERCENT IN AIR.
