t <br /> 4.0 <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The following are the principal findings and results of this investigation: <br /> • Hydrocarbon was detected in only one.sample from the nine former inground <br /> hoist locations. .TPHhf was detected at 4.7 ppm in sample number IL-8 @ 12 feet <br /> bgs. TPHhf was not detected at the reporting limit at any of the other eight soil <br /> boring locations. <br /> • The oil-water separator inspection revealed no significant cracks or other <br /> P g <br /> structural defects.- Eight shallow surface cracks (less than 1/8 inch deep) were <br /> L noted, none of the cracks were longer than 12 inches, or wider than 1/16 inch. <br /> • No soil impacts were detected at the former location of the used oil UST removed <br /> from the dealership. TPHmo was not detected at the reporting limit at the soil <br /> boring location. <br /> C • Soil impacted by TPHdiesel at the inactive se tic tank location ranged from non- <br /> detect to 12 ppm. The TPH was detected in the 3 feet bgs sample, but the sample <br /> L collected at 12 feet bgs was non-detect for TPH.
