1 19 January 2001 <br />' AGE-NC Project No 98-0497 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS FROM GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> The analytical results from the 29 November 2000 ground water samples are as follows <br />' • TPH- detected in - a c concentration f 1 500 micrograms per liter Il Xylene <br /> gwas MW l t a o o gr p (µg ) y <br />' was detected in the ground water sample from well MW-1 at a concentration of 14 µg/1 No <br /> other BTEX compounds were detected in ground water samples analyzed <br /> • TPH-d was detected at a concentration 44,000 µg/l In the sample from well MW-1 <br />' • Fuel oxygenates were not detected in.the three ground water samples collected <br />' Laboratory results of water samples analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons are summarized in Tables <br /> 4 and 5 The laboratory reports for the quarterly monitoring event(MAI Lab ID Nos 54671 through <br />' 54673) QA/QC reports and chain-of-custody form are included In Appendix B <br /> 5.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> The findings of the 29 November 2000 site Investigation events include the following <br />' • Contamination by TPH-g, TPH-d and xylene was encountered In ground water samples <br /> collected and analyzed from MW-1 Concentrations of TPH-g and TPH-d were significantly <br />' lower than during the previous monitoring event <br /> • MTBE and other fuel additives were not detected In samples collected fromthe groundwater <br />' monitoring network <br /> • Measured ground water elevation Is approximately 34 3 feet below rxlsl, and was within the <br /> screened interval of each monitoring well <br />' 6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Based on the results of this and previous Investigations, AGE recommends <br /> -Continued quarterly monitoring of the ground water monitoring network - - - <br />' Analysis of ground water samples should be limited to TPH-g, TPH-d and BTEX Fuel <br /> additives have not been detected In soil or ground water samples collected and analyzed from <br /> . the site over two quarters <br />' Advanced GeoEnvtronmiental,Inc <br />
