CAIMBRIA CORRESPONDENCE ISSUES There appears to be a misunderstanding regarding when certain documents were submitted by Cambria. We would like to set the record straight on this matter by presenting a time line for correspondence submittal related to the subject site. t V • February 7, 2002, Cambria issues our Groundwater Monitoring Report-Fourth Quarter 2001. Copies of this report were sent to EHD, HCB, the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), and the City of Ripon. i • February 13, 2002, Cambria issues our Groundwater Monitoring Report-First Quarter 2002. Copies of this report were sent to EHD,HCB,RWQCB,and the City of Ripon. l • February 14, 2002, HCB letter to. EHD requesting that EHD provide an early deadline to Cambria for submission of the Groundwater Monitoring Report-First Quarter 2002. • July 1, 2002 Cambria issues our Groundwater Monitoring Report-Second Quarter 2002. Copies of this report were sent to EHD,HCB,RWQCB, and the City of Ripon. • July 16,2002 HCB letter to EHD stating that HCB has not received any correspondence from Cambria since the Fourth Quarter 2001 Monitoring Report was issued. HCB also requested a meeting with EHD,Cambria, and HCB. �I I As is apparent from this time line, Cambria issued our first quarter 2002 monitoring report in an expedited manner. It was issued six days after we issued our fourth quarter 2001 monitoring report and prior to the date of HCB's letter requesting an early deadline for the first quarter 2002 monitoring report. I ` The second quarter 2002 monitoring report we issued to HCB was returned to us with a "Return f to Sender" stamp on it. We had sent it to Michele Dias at HCB, which was the contact person for HCB we had been sending reports to since August 2001. After getting the report returned in the mail, we called HCB and learned that Michele Dias does not work at HCB and that we should send the report to Jeanne Zolezzi. We then reissued the report to Jeanne Zolezzi. 0324 3
