CANIBRIA
Iimited extent of soil contamination at the site, soil iso-concentration maps are not necessary for
the site and were not prepared.
No iso-concentration maps for groundwater were prepared because no TPHg, BTEX, or MTBE
was detected during the most recent sampling event (first quarter 2005).
9, Zone of influence calculated and assumptions used for the subsurface remediation system
and the zone of capture attained for the soil and groundwater remediation system;
A pump test was completed at the site in May 1999. Based on test results,Cambria calculated an
estimated hydraulic conductivity at the site of approximately 3.2x10- cm/sec. Drawdown was
observed in wells located up to 80 feet from pumping well EW-1. No formal zone of influence
or zone of capture was calculated.
An SVE pilot test was also completed at the site in May 2001. The maximum distance vacuum
influence was noted during the test was approximately 80 feet from the test well. No formal
• zone of influence or zone of capture was calculated.
10. Reports/information;
A table listing known reports is included in Appendix E. All available boring logs and well
construction details are included in Appendix B.
11. Best Available Technology (BAT) used or an explanation for not using BAT;
GWE was utilized at the site between November 1998 and July 2001 as an interim remedial
measure, a pump test was completed in May 1999, and an SVE pilot test was conducted in
May 2001. No formal comparison of remedial technologies has been completed at the site,
however, because interim GWE measures have decreased groundwater concentrations to
background levels, and soil vapor concentrations detected at the site during SVE pilot testing
were low to non-detect.
12. Reasons why "background"was/is unattainable using BAT;
Background levels at the site have been attained.
•
0324 8
