(Cambria)prepared this Case Closure Summary for the <br /> property located at 341 East Main Street, Ripon, California. Based on a review of the site <br /> background and current conditions, Cambria believes that this site meets the Central Valley <br /> • Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB-CVR) definition of a low-risk fuel site, as <br /> described in Appendix A of the Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary <br /> Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, dated April 16, 2004. A summary of <br /> the site background, site conditions, and a discussion of the RWQCB-CVR Checklist of Required <br /> Data for No Further Action Requests at Underground Tank Sites are presented below. The due <br /> date for this document was extended to June 9, 2005 with permission from San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department staff. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description: The subject property is located on the northwest comer of the intersection of <br /> East Main Street and the Highway 99 on/off ramp in Ripon, California(Figure 1). The site is an <br /> operating Shell-branded service station with an underground storage tank (UST) complex, two <br /> dispenser islands, a car wash, and a station building (Figure 2). The site is approximately 16,600 <br /> square feet, and is roughly square in shape. The site is identified by assessor's parcel number <br /> 261-140-07. Properties surrounding the subject property are a mixture of residential properties <br /> Cambria and commercial nronerties.
