(Cambria) is submitting this groundwater monitoring
report on behalf of Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) in accordance
with the quarterly reporting requirements of 23 CCR 26524.
FOURTH QUARTER 2004 ACTIVITIES
Blaine Tech Services; Inc. (Blaine) of San Jose, California gauged and sampled selected wells
and prepared'a summary table of field gauging and laboratory analytical data. Cambria prepared
an area well survey map (Figure 1) and a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map for
the deep zone (Figure 2) and for the shallow zone (Figure 3). Blaine's report, presenting the
Jt7
fourth quarter-'2004 laboratory report, supporting field notes, and the additiona Jul and Au ust1
2004 monthly sampling results for well MW-6A, are included as Appendix A. 40-
Z>
` ;;r> E
€ GROUNDWATER REMEDIATION
Interim Groundwater Remediation: Blaine began weekly purging of onsite monitoring well
MW-1 on November 10, 1998 and onsite extraction well EW-1 on March'11, 1999. This practice
continued until the groundwater extraction(GWE) system was started during March 2000.
l Groundwater Remediation System Operation: Cambria installed a GWE system at this site
Cambria which began operation in March 2000 and was shutdown in July 2001. Hydrocarbon and MTBE
EEnvironmental
Technology,Inc. concentrations have been substantially'reduced in groundwater beneath the site. The GWE
,
'' system extracted groundwater from well EW-1 at approximately five gallons per minute. An
Perkins stTeet estimate of contaminant mass removed by the GWE system is summarized in the following table.
P.D.Box 259
Sonoma,CA 95476
Tel(707)935-4850
fax(707)935-6649
i
